Testing & Inspecting Intervals

Intervals between inspection and tests vary depending on the industry, environment and equipment. As recommended by the AS/NZS 3760:2022 electrical testing and tagging frequencies can be found via ‘Table 4' and should be seen at the very least as a minimum requirement.

The frequency of testing that you should be aware of are:

3 months

Construction, Demolition, Mining, Hire Equipment 

6 Months

Factory, Workshop, Commercial Kitchen, Commercial Cleaning Equipment 

12 Months

Office, Retail, Public Venue, Showroom, Schools

24 Months

Aged Care Residents Rooms, Hotel Guest Rooms, Motel Guest Rooms, Boarding Houses

5 Years

Computer Server Rooms, Constant Running Devices in Isolated Environments
